Walchand Peoplefirst Ltd held its 105th AGM on July 31, 2025 via video conferencing, chaired by Chairperson Pallavi Jha. All five directors, including independent directors and committee chairs, attended, along with statutory auditors, secretarial auditor, and scrutinizer. A total of 20 shareholders joined through VC (3 from promoter group, 17 from public). Seven resolutions were put to vote, and all were passed with the requisite majority. Key items included adoption of FY25 audited financial statements, declaration of a final dividend of Rs.1 per share (10%) on equity shares of Rs.10 face value, reappointment of Pallavi Jha as Managing Director (retiring by rotation), reappointment of CNK & Associates LLP as statutory auditors for 5 years, appointment of Nilesh Shah & Associates as secretarial auditors for 5 years (FY26-FY30), and reappointment of Independent Director Joseph Andrew Jude Pereira for a second 5-year term (Oct 2025 to Oct 2030), including a special resolution to continue him beyond age 75.
