Wardwizard Foods and Beverages reported standalone FY25 revenue from operations of Rs. 9,277.90 lakhs, a sharp jump from Rs. 1,671.14 lakhs in FY24, indicating very strong top-line growth driven mainly by the Food Commodities segment (Rs. 8,728.45 lakhs) and RTE/Frozen/Sauces segment (Rs. 227.46 lakhs). Despite the revenue surge, the company stayed in the red with a FY25 net loss of Rs. 1,368.64 lakhs, although this was a sizeable improvement from the Rs. 3,304.51 lakh loss in FY24. Q4 FY25 itself turned profitable at Rs. 27.04 lakhs versus a Rs. 1,080.75 lakh loss in Q4 FY24. The statutory auditor (Mahesh Udhwani & Associates) gave an unmodified (clean) opinion, and the company also appointed new Internal and Cost Auditors for FY26.
Shareholders see a turnaround story in the making: revenue has scaled multi-fold and quarterly profits have turned positive, though full-year losses persist and equity has eroded from Rs. 93.79 cr to Rs. 80.24 cr. The clean audit opinion removes one major overhang, but investors should note continuing operating cash burn and that profitability at the full-year level is still not achieved.
