Websol Energy System reported Q2FY26 revenue of ₹168 Cr, up 17.2% YoY but down 23.1% QoQ, with EBITDA of ₹72 Cr (margin 43%) and PAT of ₹46 Cr (margin 27%). The sequential dip was attributed to an 8-day planned shutdown for integrating the new 600 MW cell line and festive-season logistics slowdown in West Bengal. H1FY26 performance was strong with revenue at ₹387 Cr (+51.7% YoY), EBITDA at ₹176 Cr (+64.8%), and PAT at ₹114 Cr (+74.9%). The company commissioned its Phase II 600 MW Mono-PERC cell line on 27 September 2025, fully self-funded, achieving 23.6% peak cell efficiency. Management outlined a multi-phase expansion blueprint targeting 5.2 GW cell and 4.5 GW module capacity by CY28E, including a ₹3,000 Cr greenfield 2 GW Topcon facility.
Short-term Q2 numbers were soft due to the planned shutdown, but the strong H1FY26 showing, debt/equity improvement to 0.37x, and ₹132 Cr operating cash flow support the expansion narrative. Shareholders should view the commissioning of Phase II on schedule as a positive execution signal, with the multi-year capacity ramp-up being the key driver for future growth.
