Welspun Enterprises reported its highest-ever consolidated revenue of ₹3,584 Cr in FY25, up 25% YoY, beating its own medium-term guidance of 15-20% growth. Consolidated EBITDA rose 18% to ₹730 Cr, while PAT grew 11% to ₹354 Cr. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue grew 24% to ₹1,021 Cr, EBITDA jumped 32% to ₹207 Cr, and PAT surged 36% to ₹105 Cr. The company ended FY25 with a strong order book of ₹14,354 Cr (over 3x trailing revenues), ₹1,155 Cr in cash, and increased its stake in water subsidiary Welspun Michigan Engineers to 60%. The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹3 per share. However, gross debt rose sharply to ₹1,300 Cr (from ₹572 Cr) and consolidated EBITDA margin slipped 87 bps to 19.3% in FY25.
Strong revenue beat, robust order book, and healthy cash position support the growth story, but rising debt and margin compression may temper near-term sentiment. The dividend announcement and stake hike in the high-margin water business are positives for long-term shareholders.
