West Coast Paper Mills' board, at its meeting on February 12, 2026, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q3FY26 and 9MFY26. It also re-appointed Shri S.K. Bangur as Chairman and Managing Director for a further 5 years effective May 1, 2026, and re-appointed Smt. Sudha Bhushan as Independent Non-Executive Director for a second term effective May 19, 2026, both subject to shareholder approval. Standalone performance was weak with revenue of Rs 590.77 crore (down 8% QoQ) and PAT of Rs 18.61 crore (down 59% QoQ), as rising paper imports hurt realisations and a planned maintenance shutdown in November 2025 hit production. Consolidated results were stronger, with revenue up 1% QoQ at Rs 1,049.78 crore and PAT rising 148% QoQ to Rs 29.58 crore.
Leadership continuity is maintained with the promoter CMD and an experienced independent director getting another term, which should reassure shareholders on stability. However, the sharp QoQ fall in standalone profit highlights ongoing pricing pressure from imports, which is a key near-term concern for the stock.
