Western Carriers filed its investor presentation alongside Q4 and FY25 audited results. FY25 revenue grew 2.4% YoY to ₹1,725.7 Cr, but profitability declined sharply — EBITDA fell 17.9% to ₹119.9 Cr with margins compressing from 8.7% to 6.9%, and PAT dropped 18.9% to ₹65.1 Cr. Q4 was particularly weak, with EBITDA down 43% YoY to ₹24.9 Cr. TEU volumes were nearly flat at ~213,475. The balance sheet strengthened materially post-IPO: debt-to-equity improved from 0.7x to 0.2x, and current borrowings fell to ₹153.3 Cr from ₹241.2 Cr. Management outlined future growth levers including margin expansion, geographic expansion, inorganic acquisitions, and technology upgrades.
Despite revenue growth and a much stronger balance sheet post-IPO, the steep fall in EBITDA and PAT margins is a clear negative for near-term sentiment. The forward-looking strategy of margin expansion, asset-light scaling, and inorganic growth provides some comfort, but investors may wait for evidence of margin recovery before the stock re-rates higher.
