Winsome Breweries Ltd reported zero operating revenue for FY 2025-26 as its beer manufacturing plant in Rajasthan remains non-operational following termination of the bottling agreement by United Breweries Ltd (UBL) in FY 2021-22. The company posted a net loss of Rs. 148.94 lakhs for the year, a significant decline from a profit of Rs. 14.94 lakhs in the previous year. Total income dropped to Rs. 282 lakhs from Rs. 381.19 lakhs. Operating cash flow was deeply negative at Rs. 219.85 lakhs. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements. An arbitration award dated 6th October 2025 was given in favour of the company against UBL, but UBL has filed an appeal with Bengaluru Commercial Court which remains pending.
The company is essentially a non-operating entity with no revenue and significant cash burn. Pending litigation outcome with UBL is critical for future operations. Shareholders face extreme risk as the stock is essentially a speculative play on the arbitration case outcome.
