Wipro filed a newspaper advertisement in the Financial Express and Kannada Prabha publishing its audited Q4 and FY26 financial results, as required under SEBI's Listing Regulations. For Q4 FY26, consolidated revenue came in at ₹242,363 million (vs ₹225,042 million in Q4 FY25), with profit after tax of ₹35,216 million and basic EPS of ₹3.34. For full year FY26, revenue was ₹926,240 million, PAT was ₹132,655 million, and EPS stood at ₹12.60. The audited results were approved by the Board on April 16, 2026 with an unmodified audit opinion. Separately, the Board approved a share buyback of up to 600 million equity shares (about 5.7% of total) at ₹250 per share via a tender offer, for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹15,000 crore, subject to shareholder approval. The promoter group has indicated non-participation. CFO Aparna Iyer noted FY26 operating cash flow was 114% of net income, and that the company will retain ample cash for growth even after the buyback.
The buyback, at a healthy premium to market price, reflects management's confidence in cash generation and signals intent to reward shareholders, likely providing short-term support to the stock. Q4 results indicate modest year-on-year revenue growth, and the merger of five wholly-owned subsidiaries is now effective from April 1, 2025, with prior periods restated to reflect the combined entity.
