Women investors account for over 13% of crypto futures traders; XRP and Bitcoin top their portfolios

Crypto exchange Giottus reported that women traders now account for over 13% of crypto futures traders in India, with XRP and Bitcoin topping their portfolios. Futures user growth surged 42.5% in February and continued expanding around 28-35% through May, driven significantly by smaller-city participation. Bitcoin and Ethereum together made up only 15.35% of futures volume, with Ethereum at 7.07%, Solana at 5.76%, and XRP at 5.24%, indicating a tilt toward altcoins. Tamil Nadu led with 46.6% of futures traders and 59.26% of trading volume, while average leverage stood at 10x with liquidation ratios between 0.55% and 2.52%.
