Worldwide Aluminium's board approved audited results for FY25. Revenue from operations jumped sharply to ₹6,009.59 lakhs from ₹701.76 lakhs in FY24, driven by its aluminium coils trading business. Despite the huge revenue jump, profit after tax only edged up marginally to ₹0.28 lakhs from ₹0.25 lakhs, reflecting very thin margins. Q4 FY25 revenue was ₹2,935.33 lakhs but the company posted a small loss of ₹2.97 lakhs in the quarter versus ₹37.85 lakhs profit in Q4 FY24. Trade receivables rose to ₹1,102.69 lakhs and trade payables to ₹1,110.29 lakhs, while cash and equivalents fell dramatically from ₹320.36 lakhs to just ₹4.63 lakhs. Auditor Jain Kedia & Sharma issued an unqualified (clean) opinion on the results.
While topline growth is impressive, the near-flat profitability and steep drop in cash raise concerns about working-capital strain and quality of earnings. Shareholders should watch whether the company can convert its sharply higher revenue into meaningful profits and healthier cash generation going forward.
