Xpro India reported FY25 net sales of INR 535.28 crores, up 15% YoY, with production volumes rising 18.4% to 33,014 tons. Q4 revenue grew ~23% to INR 158.21 crores, but PBT fell to INR 11.51 crores from INR 16.52 crores as the company took strategic price cuts of 5-7% in dielectric films to prepare for new capacity. Coex division revenue grew 25% to INR 393.86 crores while Biax dipped to INR 141 crores; EBITDA for the year fell to INR 72.88 crores. The Barjora expansion line (doubling capacity) is in dry runs and management expects commercial production by September 2025, with the Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) subsidiary line expected to start dry runs by Q4 calendar 2025; revenue potential is pegged at INR 150-200 crores per plant. Management stated EBITDA margins have 'bottomed out,' with pricing reversals beginning. A dividend of INR 2 per share was recommended, and long-term debt rose by INR 110 crores via supplier credit/ECB for the new Barjora line.
Short-term, the stock may react positively to the clear management commentary that margins have bottomed and that new capacity is imminent. Investors should watch for commissioning of the Barjora line by September and the UAE plant by end-CY25, which could drive meaningful revenue and margin expansion from FY26 onwards.
