Yash Highvoltage's board approved acquiring 100% of newly incorporated Yash HV Power Components Pvt Ltd for Rs. 10,000 in cash, to operate in the sales and service of transformer components and sub-station equipment. The target was incorporated on April 25, 2025 and has not yet commenced business. Separately, the company posted audited FY25 results showing revenue from operations rising to Rs. 15,014.13 lakhs from Rs. 10,848.08 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 38%. Net profit jumped to Rs. 2,140.76 lakhs from Rs. 1,232.87 lakhs, while EPS stood at Rs. 8.92 versus Rs. 5.57. Cash and bank balances surged to Rs. 7,159.72 lakhs, boosted by the December 2024 IPO. The board also appointed a secretarial auditor and updated its Related Party Transaction Policy.
The acquisition is small in value (Rs. 10,000) as the target is a newly formed shell with no operations yet, so near-term financial impact is minimal, but it sets up a dedicated vehicle for the sales and service vertical of transformer components. Strong FY25 earnings growth and healthy post-IPO cash position are positives for shareholders.
