Yash Innoventures Ltd (formerly Redex Protech Ltd) reported a strong turnaround for Q1 FY26 ended June 30, 2025. Revenue from operations doubled to ₹98 lakhs from ₹49 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Total income rose to ₹98.71 lakhs versus ₹55.58 lakhs a year ago, while total expenses fell sharply to ₹60.38 lakhs from ₹96.89 lakhs. The company posted a profit before exceptional items of ₹48.33 lakhs compared to a loss of ₹41.31 lakhs earlier, and a one-time exceptional gain of ₹612.10 lakhs from sale of a non-current asset held for sale pushed profit after tax to ₹599.02 lakhs against a loss of ₹57.33 lakhs in Q1 FY25. EPS stood at ₹3.74 versus ₹(0.36) earlier. The results also reflect the amalgamation of Yash Shelters Limited with the company, approved by NCLT and effective April 15, 2025, with prior periods restated accordingly.
The headline profit jump is largely driven by a one-time asset sale (exceptional item), so core operational improvement is more modest. The amalgamation with Yash Shelters could meaningfully change the company's scale and business mix going forward, which shareholders should watch.
