Zen Technologies reported its Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 111.06 crore from Rs. 253.96 crore in Q1 FY25, a drop of roughly 56% year-on-year. Standalone net profit nearly halved to Rs. 37.12 crore from Rs. 74.18 crore YoY, with EPS of Rs. 4.11. On a consolidated basis, revenue declined to Rs. 158.22 crore from Rs. 254.60 crore (about 38% lower YoY), while consolidated net profit was Rs. 53.07 crore vs Rs. 79.41 crore. The order book remains strong at Rs. 605.97 crore (standalone) and Rs. 754.56 crore (consolidated). The company also completed the acquisition of a 76% stake in TISA Aerospace for Rs. 6.56 crore during the quarter. Auditor Ramasamy Koteswara Rao and Co LLP issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results.
Sharp YoY decline in both revenue and profit is a clear negative for the stock, though the healthy order pipeline of over Rs. 750 crore provides revenue visibility for upcoming quarters. The TISA Aerospace acquisition adds a new subsidiary to the defence portfolio. Shareholders should watch execution of the order book in coming quarters to gauge if the Q1 weakness was a timing/recognition issue or a broader slowdown.
