Zenith Fibres reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results, showing revenue from operations of Rs. 972.02 lakh, down about 5.8% from Rs. 1,031.42 lakh in the same quarter last year. Net profit came in at Rs. 37.82 lakh, a roughly 29% drop from Rs. 53.17 lakh in Q1 FY25, with EPS of Rs. 0.96 versus Rs. 1.35. The company returned to profitability after posting a Rs. 53.91 lakh loss in the preceding Q4 FY25. On the segment side, the Manmade Fibre business (revenue Rs. 970.15 lakh) continued to bleed with a Rs. 79.56 lakh loss before tax, while the Wind Mill segment (revenue Rs. 62.93 lakh) contributed Rs. 41.80 lakh in profit. The Board also approved continuing Mrs. Rashmi Desai as Independent Director beyond age 75 until November 10, 2027, and appointed Mr. Upendra Shukla as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY25-26 to FY29-30), both subject to shareholder approval.
Shareholders should note the year-on-year decline in both top line and bottom line, with the core Manmade Fibre business still loss-making and overall profitability being supported by the smaller Wind Mill segment and other income. The director and auditor changes are routine governance items requiring shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM and are unlikely to move the stock on their own.
