Zenith Fibres' Board approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 972.02 lakh from Rs. 1,031.42 lakh in the same quarter last year, a decline of about 5.8%. Net profit dropped to Rs. 37.82 lakh (from Rs. 53.17 lakh), with EPS at Rs. 0.96 vs Rs. 1.35 earlier. The Manmade Fibre segment continues to post losses (Rs. 79.56 lakh in Q1), while the Wind Mill segment remained profitable with Rs. 41.80 lakh in segment profit. The Board also approved continuation of Independent Director Mrs. Rashmi Desai beyond age 75 until November 10, 2027, and appointed Mr. Upendra Shukla as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26-FY30), both subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
Mixed signals for shareholders: revenue and profits are contracting year-on-year, and the core Manmade Fibre business is loss-making. The board changes are routine governance matters and unlikely to move the stock, but investors should watch whether the fibre segment turnaround materializes in coming quarters.
