Zenotech Laboratories has published its standalone unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025 in Business Standard and Telugu Prabha, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. Total income from operations rose to Rs 1,193.64 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs 1,023.16 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a growth of about 16.6%. Despite this top-line improvement, the company swung to a net loss of Rs 83.65 lakhs in Q2 FY26, against a profit of Rs 98.96 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, after taking a hit of Rs 4.97 lakhs in exceptional items and tax. For H1 FY26, net profit after exceptional items and tax fell sharply to Rs 15.30 lakhs from Rs 263.71 lakhs in H1 FY25. Loss per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.14 versus earnings of Rs 0.16 in Q2 FY25.
The swing to a quarterly loss and the steep drop in half-yearly profit are clearly negative for shareholders, even though revenues grew. Investors will likely zero in on the exceptional items and tax effect that wiped out operating gains, which could weigh on the stock in the near term.
