Zensar Technologies reported Q1FY26 revenue of $162.0 million, up 4.9% year-on-year in reported currency and 3.8% in constant currency, with sequential growth of 3.3% QoQ. Gross margins improved 20 basis points QoQ to 30.5%, while EBITDA margin stood at 15.2% (down from 15.6% in Q4FY25) and PAT margin at 13.1%. The company booked new orders worth $172.0 million, an 11.7% jump from last year, supported by AI-led deal wins across BFSI, healthcare, and gaming clients. Cash and investments rose to $315.7 million with zero debt, and voluntary attrition fell to a two-year low of 9.8%. Management said it is 'cautiously optimistic' for the rest of the year despite macro uncertainties, with BFSI (41.5% of revenue) and Healthcare (16.5% YoY growth) leading verticals while TMT declined 5.6% YoY.
A steady quarter with healthy order momentum and a strong cash pile of $315.7M should reassure investors, though the dip in EBITDA margin and ongoing softness in the TMT vertical may cap near-term upside. The stock reaction will depend on whether order growth sustains and margins stabilize from here.
