Zerodha restarts referral programme; Nithin Kamath says over half of growth came through word of mouth

Zerodha has relaunched its referral programme after obtaining regulatory clarity, with founder Nithin Kamath stating that over 50% of the brokerage's growth historically came through word-of-mouth and referrals. Previously, nearly 30% of new accounts were acquired via referrals. The reinstated programme will reward both new and past referrers.
