Zuari Industries' board approved Q1 FY26 (ended 30 June 2025) results with consolidated revenue from operations rising to ₹25,745.80 lakhs (vs ₹22,570.92 lakhs in Q1 FY25), a ~14% year-on-year growth. Consolidated net loss narrowed sharply to ₹47.68 lakhs from ₹3,360.68 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, helped by a strong share of profits from associates. Standalone revenue stood at ₹21,026.66 lakhs and standalone net loss improved to ₹388.64 lakhs, though the company booked ₹448.49 lakhs in impairment losses on its furniture subsidiaries IFPL and FFPIL. The board also approved the re-appointment of statutory auditors (V Sankar Aiyar & Co) for a second 5-year term, appointed new secretarial and internal auditors, and approved shifting the registered office from Goa to Haryana. Additionally, ₹60 crore of inter-corporate deposits given to associate Zuari Agro Chemicals were extended by one year.
The sharp narrowing of consolidated losses and ~14% revenue growth in Q1 are mildly positive signals for shareholders, though the company remains in the red at the standalone level with ongoing furniture segment impairments. Administrative items like the office shift and auditor changes are routine governance matters and unlikely to move the stock.
