Zydus Lifesciences Limited has informed the Exchange regarding a press release dated September 04, 2025, titled "Zydus and Synthon entered into exclusive licensing and supply agreement for Ozanimod Capsules (generic version of ZEPOSIA®) for the U.S. market".

Zydus Lifesciences has signed an exclusive licensing and supply agreement with Synthon for Ozanimod Capsules, which is the generic equivalent of ZEPOSIA® — a branded drug used to treat multiple sclerosis and ulcerative colitis (originally marketed by Bristol-Myers Squibb). Under this deal, Zydus will develop, manufacture, and supply the generic product to Synthon for sale in the United States, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical markets. The agreement was disclosed via a press release dated September 4, 2025, and gives Zydus a foothold in a high-value, complex generic therapy segment in the U.S. It builds on Zydus's existing strategy of expanding its specialty and complex generics portfolio beyond India. The U.S. generics market is a key growth driver for Indian pharma companies, and ZEPOSIA® reportedly generates over $1 billion in annual U.S. sales, making this a commercially meaningful opportunity.
