Akme Fintrade, an Udaipur-based NBFC focused on vehicle and business loans, announced its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Total income rose sharply to ₹31.92 crore from ₹21.33 crore in Q1 FY25, a jump of about 50%. Net profit grew to ₹9.61 crore from ₹8.61 crore, while profit before tax climbed to ₹12.11 crore from ₹9.11 crore. The statutory auditor (Valawat & Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The Board also approved issuing listed, secured, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures worth up to ₹30 crore on a private placement basis, carrying a 12% coupon and 24-month tenure with 1.10x security cover, and appointed Ronak Jhuthawat & Co as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30) subject to shareholder approval.
Strong revenue growth signals healthy business expansion for the NBFC, though the ~12% net profit growth is more modest and partly reflects higher impairment provisions and finance costs. The ₹30 crore NCD issuance at 12% will support lending growth but raises the company's borrowing costs and overall debt, which shareholders should monitor closely.
