Allcargo Terminals reported strong FY25 standalone results with total income rising 7.6% to Rs 547.82 crore and profit after tax jumping nearly 40% to Rs 52.95 crore (EPS Rs 2.16 vs Rs 1.54). Q4 standalone PAT more than doubled to Rs 11.29 crore. On the consolidated side, FY25 PAT fell to Rs 30.23 crore from Rs 44.70 crore, with a Q4 loss of Rs 2.42 crore hit by a Rs 7.5 crore exceptional charge from accelerated amortisation at Speedy Mundra. The Board appointed 7 Senior Management Personnel, designated MD Suresh Kumar Ramiah as Chief Operating Decision Maker, and named new Tax and Secretarial Auditors. No dividend was proposed for FY25.
Strong standalone earnings growth is positive for shareholders, though weaker consolidated numbers and a Q4 loss may temper sentiment. The Income Tax search (disclosed in Feb 2025) remains an overhang pending outcome, and the absence of a dividend could disappoint income-focused investors.
