ASK Automotive, India's largest brake shoe and advanced braking systems maker for two-wheelers, posted strong FY25 results. Total income rose 20% to Rs. 3,613 crore, EBITDA jumped 43% to Rs. 444 crore with margins improving 193 bps to 12.3%, and profit after tax climbed 43% to Rs. 248 crore. EPS grew to Rs. 12.6 from Rs. 8.8, and ROACE improved to 27.7%. In Q4 alone, revenue grew 8.5% to Rs. 853 crore, EBITDA 25% to Rs. 107 crore, and PAT 21% to Rs. 58 crore. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.5 per share (75%). On the business side, the company entered a strategic partnership with a Japanese firm for alloy wheels, started its 18th manufacturing facility in Karnataka, and got its credit rating upgraded from AA- to AA by CRISIL.
This is a strong set of numbers with double-digit revenue and profit growth, expanding margins, a healthy return ratio, and a dividend payout, which is positive for shareholders. The credit rating upgrade and new capacity additions signal continued momentum, though Q4 was sequentially weaker than Q3, so investors should watch whether the strong run can sustain.
