Atul Auto reported total three-wheeler sales of 3,429 units in February 2026 (domestic + export), up 18.24% from 2,900 units in February 2025. Domestic sales stood at 2,940 units, a 24.58% jump year-on-year, driven primarily by IC engine three-wheelers, which surged 38.06% to 2,445 units. The EV L3 segment also grew 20.57% to 381 units, but the EV L5 segment dropped sharply by 58.24% to just 114 units. On a year-to-date basis for FY25-26, total volumes are up 12.89% at 34,228 units versus 30,319 units last year, though EV L3 sales are down 10.97% cumulatively.
The strong monthly growth, especially in the core IC engine business, is a positive signal for near-term revenue, but the steep decline in EV L5 volumes and softer EV L3 YTD performance may concern investors focused on the company's electrification story.
