AU Small Finance Bank's Board, on April 22, 2025, approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Net profit for FY25 rose to Rs. 2,10,593 lakh, up about 37% from Rs. 1,53,472 lakh in FY24, helped by the Fincare SFB merger effective April 1, 2024. Q4 net profit stood at Rs. 50,370 lakh versus Rs. 37,074 lakh in Q4FY24. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 1 per share (10% of face value), unchanged from the previous year. Asset quality weakened slightly with Gross NPAs at 2.28% and Net NPAs at 0.74%, while the Capital Adequacy Ratio remained healthy at 20.06%. The Board also appointed Mr. Nandkumar Saravade (DIN: 07601861), former founding CEO of RBI's ReBIT and ex-IPS officer, as a Non-Executive Independent Director for three years effective May 31, 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Joint statutory auditors MSKA & Associates and Mukund M Chitale & Co. issued an unmodified audit opinion.
Strong profit growth, steady dividend, and a clean audit report are positive for shareholders, though rising NPA ratios and a lower sequential EPS (Rs. 6.77 vs Rs. 7.10) may temper sentiment. The addition of a cybersecurity and banking-tech veteran to the board is a governance positive.
