Bajaj Auto has issued a clarification to their FY26 annual results filing, correcting a typographical error in the press release. The heading of the 5th column in the Financial Summary tables should read 'Q4 FY25' instead of 'Q4 FY26'. The actual Q4 FY26 numbers in the columns remain correct - only the column header was mislabeled. Key FY26 standalone highlights include: Revenue of Rs 58,732 crore (+17% YoY), EBITDA of Rs 12,019 crore (+19% YoY) with margin at 20.5%, and PAT of Rs 9,825 crore (+21% YoY). Q4 FY26 was particularly strong with revenue at Rs 16,006 crore (+32%) and PAT at Rs 2,746 crore (+34%), including an exceptional gain of Rs 35 crore from prepayment of a Sales Tax deferral loan. Total volumes grew 10% to over 51 lakh units. The consolidated PAT jumped 47% to Rs 10,744 crore. The Board also recommended a dividend of Rs 150 per share and approved a share buyback.
The filing is a routine correction to fix a column header error in the press release - there is no change to actual financial numbers. The underlying business showed exceptional performance with double-digit revenue and profit growth across segments. The 100% dividend payout (Rs 9,825 crore) combined with the buyback demonstrates strong cash generation and shareholder returns.
