Bajaj Auto's Austria-based step-down subsidiary Bajaj Mobility AG (parent of KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS) published its 2025 annual results, reporting a clear turnaround after a year of restructuring. Revenue stood at EUR 1.009 billion with sales of 209,704 units, EBITDA of EUR 874 million, EBIT of EUR 748 million and net profit of EUR 590 million, aided by a one-time restructuring gain of EUR 1,193 million. The equity ratio improved to 24.3% and net debt fell significantly to EUR 798 million, while inventory was cut by over 101,000 units (from 248,580 to 147,427 vehicles). H2 2025 retail sales were up about 60% versus H1, and the group secured a EUR 550 million, five-year unsecured loan from J.P. Morgan, HSBC, DBS and MUFG to replace the higher-cost EUR 450 million loan earlier given by Bajaj Auto, along with a EUR 150 million factoring line and EUR 50 million working-capital facility. Non-core businesses (MV Agusta, KTM X-Bow, bicycles) were divested, and 29 motorsport titles were won – the most in company history. Early 2026 trends are also strong, with Q1 unit sales already more than double the prior-year quarter.
Positive for Bajaj Auto shareholders: the European subsidiary has stabilised financially, reduced its dependence on Bajaj Auto's balance sheet, and refinanced at more favourable terms, which should free up capital and limit further funding support from the parent. Strong H2 2025 and early 2026 sales momentum point to improving earnings contribution, though the headline profit is lifted by a large non-cash restructuring gain and geopolitical risks remain flagged by management.
