Bajaj Finance's Debenture Allotment Committee has allotted 1,25,000 secured NCDs of face value Rs. 1 lakh each, aggregating to Rs. 1,251.12 crore, via private placement on 9 April 2025. The NCDs carry a coupon of 7.55% per annum, paid annually, and have a tenure of about 10 years maturing on 3 April 2035. The instruments will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of BSE (ISIN: INE296A07TH8). Repayment is secured by a first pari-passu charge on the company's book debts and loan receivables, with a minimum asset cover of 1.00 times.
This is a routine debt raise by the NBFC to fund its lending book and does not dilute equity shareholders. The 7.55% coupon is competitive for a 10-year AAA-rated NBFC paper, and the secured structure signals prudent liability management.
