Bandhan Bank reported a strong Q4 FY26 with PAT of Rs 534 crore, up 68% YoY from Rs 318 crore. However, full year PAT stood at Rs 1,224 crore versus Rs 2,745 crore in FY25, showing a significant decline on an annual basis. Deposits grew 10% YoY to Rs 1.66 lakh crore and gross advances rose 13% YoY to Rs 1.54 lakh crore. Asset quality improved with Gross NPA reducing to 3.3% from 4.7% and Net NPA to 1.0% from 1.3%. The Board recommended dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (same as last year). The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results. Management changes were also announced with new appointments for Head of Emerging Entrepreneurs Business and National Collection Head.
While Q4 showed strong recovery with 68% PAT growth, the full year profit declined significantly versus FY25. The improved asset quality and loan book growth are positives, but the lower annual profitability may concern investors. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide stability.
