Bank of Baroda has delivered record-breaking performance in FY2025-26. Total business crossed the landmark ₹30 lakh crore mark to reach ₹30.78 lakh crore, growing 13.9% YoY. Net profit crossed ₹20,000 crore for the first time, reaching ₹20,021 crore (up 2.2% YoY), with Q4FY26 delivering the highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹5,616 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA declining to 1.89% from 2.26% and NNPA falling to 0.45% from 0.58% - multi-year lows. RAM (Retail, Agriculture, MSME) advances now constitute 61% of gross domestic credit, up from 59.8%. Capital adequacy remains robust at 15.82% with CET-1 at 13.16%. The bank declared dividend of ₹8.5 per share and plans to raise up to ₹8,500 crore via equity in tranches till March 2028.
Strong all-round performance with record profit and improving asset quality positions the stock favorably. The bank's leadership in green finance (first Indian bank to issue domestic green infrastructure bonds of ₹10,000 crore) and digital transformation initiatives enhance its long-term growth prospects.
