CareEdge Global has assigned BBB+/Stable rating to BoB's USD 1 billion senior unsecured notes and reaffirmed BBB+/Stable on its USD 4 billion global medium-term notes programme and long-term foreign currency issuer rating. The rating is equated with India's sovereign rating, reflecting 64% GoI ownership, systemic importance as 2nd largest PSB with 5.5% share in advances, and strong sovereign support. FY26 metrics: total assets Rs 21,015 billion, PAT Rs 198 billion, CAR 15.8%, GNPA 1.9%, NNPA 0.4%, RoA 1.0%, deposits Rs 16,485 billion growing 12% YoY.
Stable outlook aligned with sovereign rating confirms credit quality; supports lower-cost overseas borrowing and refinancing flexibility for the bank.
