Bank of Baroda reported highest ever annual net profit of ₹20,021 crore for FY26, up 2.2% YoY, with Q4 net profit at ₹5,616 crore (up 11.2%). Total business grew 13.9% to ₹3.08 lakh crore. Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA ratio falling 37 bps to 1.89% and NNPA at 0.45%. NIM stood at 3.08% for Q4 and 2.89% for FY26. The bank issued India's first PSU Green Infrastructure Bonds worth ₹10,000 crore. RAM (Retail, Agriculture, MSME) portfolio now comprises 61% of domestic advances. Gold loans doubled with 98% growth. Capital adequacy at 15.82% with dividend of ₹8.5 per share declared.
Strong operational performance with improved asset quality and record profitability. Declining NIM and reduced capital ratios may concern investors. Green bond issuance positions bank as sustainability leader among PSBs.
