Bank of India has received approval from the Central Government to extend the term of office of Shri Rajneesh Karnatak as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for a period of three years. The extension takes effect from 28.04.2026 when his current term ends, and will continue until further orders or for three years, whichever is earlier. This extension is granted under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970. The company has informed both NSE and BSE about this development in compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
Positive for shareholders as the extension provides leadership continuity at the helm of the public sector bank, avoiding any uncertainty from a CEO change.
