BEML Limited, a Schedule 'A' defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, shared its quarterly operational highlights for Q1 FY26. The order book stood at Rs. 14,429 Cr as on 30.06.2025, slightly down from Rs. 14,610 Cr at the start of the quarter, with Rs. 435 Cr of fresh orders booked and Rs. 615 Cr executed during the quarter. Of the closing order book, Rs. 3,982 Cr is executable in the current year and Rs. 10,447 Cr in subsequent years. Total inventory declined to Rs. 2,405.89 Cr from Rs. 2,503.08 Cr a year earlier. Borrowings rose modestly to Rs. 707.24 Cr, trade receivables increased to Rs. 1,498.89 Cr, and net working capital stood at Rs. 2,948.51 Cr.
The marginal dip in the order book and slower Q1 order inflows (Rs. 435 Cr booked vs Rs. 615 Cr executed) may draw some investor attention, but the large executable pipeline of over Rs. 14,000 Cr provides strong multi-year revenue visibility. Lower inventory suggests better stock management, while slightly higher receivables and borrowings warrant watching.
