BEML Limited has informed the exchanges that the Ministry of Defence has appointed Ms. Meera Mohanty, an IAS officer (Himachal Pradesh, 2005 batch), as a Government Director (Part-time official Director) on the company's board. She replaces Smt. Nishtha Upadhyay and her appointment is effective from 14th July 2025 until further orders. Ms. Mohanty currently serves as Joint Secretary (P&C) in the Department of Defence Production and previously worked at the Prime Minister's Office. The appointment was made under Article 97 of the company's Articles of Association and SEBI Listing Regulations.
