Blue Dart Express reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 6,14,088 lakhs, up 7.4% from Rs 5,72,018 lakhs in FY25. However, net profit declined to Rs 24,981 lakhs (EPS Rs 101.02) from Rs 27,592 lakhs (EPS Rs 106.31) in the prior year. The company recognized Rs 4,436 lakhs as exceptional items due to implementation of new Labour Codes (impact of Rs 2,186 lakhs on employee benefits and Rs 2,250 lakhs on freight/handling costs). On consolidated basis, revenue was Rs 6,18,220 lakhs with net profit of Rs 27,630 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 25 per share. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications.
Revenue growth was modest at 7.4% while profit declined ~9.5% due to one-time labour code implementation costs. The exceptional items are non-recurring but compressed margins. Dividend maintained at Rs 25/share signals management confidence.
