Blue Dart Express reported standalone revenue of ₹6,14,088 lakhs for FY 2025-26, up 7.4% from ₹5,72,018 lakhs in the prior year. However, profit after tax declined to ₹23,969 lakhs from ₹24,463 lakhs due to a ₹4,436 lakhs exceptional charge arising from implementation of new Labour Codes. The company recognized ₹2,186 lakhs in increased employee benefits and ₹2,250 lakhs in higher freight/handling costs under the new legislation. EPS declined to ₹101.02 from ₹103.10 in the prior year. The Board recommended a dividend of ₹25 per share. Auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications. Cash generated from operations stood at ₹34,681 lakhs.
Profit decline despite revenue growth due to one-time labour code compliance costs temporarily compresses earnings. The exceptional item is non-recurring, but investors should monitor ongoing compliance costs. Dividend recommendation maintains shareholder returns.
