BSL Limited reported flat FY25 revenue of ₹667.78 crore (up 0.1% YoY), but profitability weakened with EBITDA falling 8.6% to ₹60.31 crore (margin down 85 bps to 9.0%) and PAT declining 27.4% to ₹8.16 crore (margin 1.2%). Q4 FY25 was particularly weak, with revenue of ₹155.55 crore (down 0.5% YoY) and PAT of just ₹0.28 crore (down 88.8% YoY), hit by seasonal demand softness, lower realisation in high-margin products, and higher raw material costs. Gross margins held up better at 44.5% in FY25 (vs 44.1% in FY24). Net debt improved slightly to ₹421 crore with net debt-to-equity at 3.5x (vs 3.9x). Exports contributed ~58% of turnover, and the company highlighted benefits from China+1 sourcing shifts, PLI scheme, and recent FTAs.
Near-term results are disappointing with sharp Q4 PAT decline, though management is optimistic on FY26 driven by trade reforms and export momentum. Existing shareholders may see limited near-term upside given margin pressure and weak ROCE/RONW trends, while new investors should watch for evidence of margin recovery in upcoming quarters.
