Capital Small Finance Bank reported strong Q4 FY26 results with total deposits crossing ₹10,000 crores (up 20% YoY) and gross advances at ₹8,687 crores (up 21% YoY). Asset quality remained stable with GNPA at 2.54% and NNPA at 1.24%. NIM improved to 4.06% from 4.01% in Q3, supported by initial deposit repricing benefits. PAT for Q4 grew 17% YoY to ₹40 crores. Management guided that 53% of high-priced term deposits are due for repricing in the next 2 quarters, which should drive meaningful NIM expansion. The bank targets 22%+ loan book growth for FY27 with NIM improvement expected more meaningfully in Q2. Credit cost is guided at 0.15%-0.25% for FY27.
The bank demonstrated steady growth with improving margins and asset quality. Management's clear multi-year targets (₹16,000 crores advances and 15%+ ROE by FY29) and NIM expansion outlook from deposit repricing signal positive momentum for shareholders.
