Capital Small Finance Bank reported Q4FY26 gross advances of ₹8,687 cr (+21% YoY) and deposits of ₹10,018 cr (+20% YoY), with PAT up 17% YoY to ₹40 cr and PPOP up 28% to ₹62 cr. Asset quality improved with GNPA falling to 2.54% and NNPA to 1.24%, while NIM showed early signs of improvement at 4.06% (vs 4.01% in Q3FY26). Cost-to-income ratio improved sharply to 58.2% from 62.6% a year ago, and RoA stood at 1.33% with RoE at 11.4%. For full-year FY26, PAT grew 7% to ₹141 cr (10% ex-exceptional item) and disbursements rose 23% to ₹3,508 cr. The bank also outlined its 'Vision 2029' targeting a 2x advance book to ₹16k+ cr, 300+ branches, RoA of 1.6%+, and RoE of 15%+.
Strong Q4 performance with improving margins, better asset quality, and a clear multi-year growth roadmap should be viewed positively by shareholders. The Vision 2029 targets signal management's confidence in scaling the bank while maintaining healthy returns, though execution on the 2x loan book growth and expansion into new states (UP, Gujarat) will be key things to watch.
