Capri Global Capital has allotted 10,000 secured, listed, rated, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (Series 13) of face value Rs. 1,00,000 each, raising Rs. 100 crore in total. The NCDs were issued through a private placement to identified investors on July 8, 2025, and will be listed on BSE. The instruments carry a coupon of 9.25% per annum, payable monthly, with a 3-year tenure maturing on July 8, 2028. The debentures are secured by a first-ranking pari-passu floating charge over the company's hypothecated assets, and include step-up (0.25% per notch on downgrade) and step-down provisions linked to credit rating changes.
The company has raised Rs. 100 crore of fresh debt at a competitive 9.25% rate, which is reasonable for a mid-sized NBFC in current market conditions. This will add to Capri Global's borrowings and interest expenses, but provides additional capital to support its lending business. The 3-year bullet maturity means principal repayment is back-loaded, while monthly interest payouts will hit the P&L from this point forward.
