Central Bank of India has signed a distribution agreement with ICICI Prudential AMC Limited to offer mutual fund products to its customers. Under this arrangement, Central Bank's customers will get access to ICICI Prudential AMC's range of mutual fund offerings. ICICI Prudential AMC, a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential PLC London, is one of India's largest asset managers with an AUM of Rs. 11.15 lakh crore as of December 2025, serving over 1.5 crore investors. The bank is leveraging its branch network to distribute third-party mutual fund products, generating fee-based income.
This is a routine fee-based partnership that allows Central Bank to earn distribution commission and offer wealth products to its depositors. No material impact on the stock is expected, but it adds a non-interest income stream for the bank.
