Central Bank of India has filed a revised investor presentation for Q4 and FY25 results, updating the CD ratio (now 70.53%, up 494 bps YoY) and FY26 business growth projections. The bank reported its highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹1,034 crore in Q4FY25, taking FY25 net profit to ₹3,785 crore (up 48.49% YoY). Total business crossed ₹7 lakh crore, growing 10.37% YoY, with advances up 15.24% and deposits up 7.19%. Asset quality improved sharply with Gross NPA falling to 3.18% (from 4.50%) and Net NPA to 0.55% (from 1.23%). ROA rose to 0.86% and ROE to 12.48%. FY26 guidance targets business growth of 14-15%, ROA above 1%, Gross NPA below 3%, Net NPA below 0.45%, and Cost-to-Income below 56%.
Strong results with significant improvement in profitability and asset quality, alongside ambitious FY26 guidance (higher business growth, ROA above 1%, lower NPAs). This is a positive signal for shareholders, likely to support positive sentiment around the stock, though the bank's GOI holding remains at 89.27% limiting free float liquidity.
