Gross NPA improved to 3.18% from 4.50%, and net NPA fell sharply to 0.55% from 1.23%, with a strong provision coverage ratio of 96.54%. Net interest margin held steady at 3.40%, ROA improved to 0.86% (from 0.63%), and ROE rose to 12.48%. Deposits stood at INR 4.12 lakh crores with healthy CASA of 48.91%, while gross advances grew 15.24% to INR 2.90 lakh crores. CRAR strengthened to 17.02%. Management guided for FY26 advances growth of 15-16%, deposit growth of 12-13%, NIM above 3%, gross NPA below 3%, net NPA of 0.45%, and ROA of 1%. Treasury is expected to add INR 600-800 crores in profits on the back of rate cuts, and the bank is investing INR 300-500 crores in digital/tech, including the new super app and BC MAXX hybrid centres.
Strong all-round performance with record profits, sharp NPA improvement, and steady margins should be positive for the stock. FY26 guidance signals continued growth momentum, improving asset quality, and a credible path to 1% ROA, supported by treasury gains and digital expansion.
