Central Government has appointed Shri Chandradeep Kumar Jha as Government Nominee Director on the Board of Central Bank of India with effect from 19 June 2026, replacing Shri Baldeo Purushartha. He is an Indian Statistical Service officer (batch 2000) currently serving as Statistical Advisor in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. He holds a Masters in Statistics from the University of Delhi and also serves on boards of IIFCL, PFRDA and MDI Gurgaon. The appointment is until further orders.
