Cochin Shipyard's wholly owned subsidiary Udupi-CSL has secured a Notable order worth Rs. 100-250 crore from Ocean Sparkle Limited, an Adani Group company, for constructing four Azimuthing Stern Drive (ASD) Tugs of 70T Bollard Pull Power. The tugs will follow Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) approved standard design specifications. Deliveries are scheduled from November 2028 to June 2029. The company clarified that no related parties are involved in this transaction. This order adds to CSL's growing order book for auxiliary vessels.
