CSL Finance shared its Q4 & FY25 investor presentation. AUM grew 16% YoY to ₹1,195 Cr and Loan Book rose 25% to ₹1,157 Cr, while FY25 Net Profit increased 14% YoY to ₹72 Cr and Net Interest Income grew 21% to ₹146 Cr. Asset quality was broadly stable with GNPA at 0.46%, though NNPA rose to 0.34% from 0.25% partly due to changes in ECL provisioning policy aligned with RBI suggestions. Management acknowledged a consolidation phase in the SME Retail segment in FY25, which led to the AUM mix shifting to 34:66 (SME Retail:Wholesale) from 44:56 a year ago. The company expanded its branch network by 14 to 43 branches, onboarded 9 new lenders (total 32), and its credit rating was reaffirmed at A- | Stable. Capital adequacy remained strong at 47% with leverage at 1.28x, leaving room to grow.
Solid top-line and profit growth with healthy capital ratios, but slightly worsening NNPA and a temporary SME Retail slowdown create a mixed picture; the reaffirmed A- rating, improving lender access, and management's guidance that profitability and operating costs will normalize as new branches mature should support investor sentiment.
