GMR Airports handled over 10 million passengers in May 2025, up 0.8% year-on-year across all airports, with YTD FY26 traffic crossing 20 million passengers and 0.12 million ATMs — both record highs. Hyderabad Airport was the standout, posting its highest-ever monthly traffic and aircraft movements with 2.8 million passengers (up 15.3% YoY) and 18,754 ATMs (up 18.2% YoY). Mopa (Goa) grew 9.6% YoY and crossed the 10 million cumulative passenger milestone since operations began in 2023. Delhi Airport, however, saw a 4.5% YoY decline to 6.25 million passengers due to temporary airspace disruptions tied to a major geopolitical event between May 6 and 20, while Medan (Indonesia) traffic fell 6.7% YoY on grounded aircraft fleet issues. Cebu (Philippines) grew 6.9% YoY. New routes from Delhi (SpiceJet–Kathmandu, Air India–Vienna/Zurich) and Hyderabad (Vietnam Airlines–Hanoi) were also launched.
Mixed near-term signal: strong growth at Hyderabad and Goa is being partially offset by temporary disruptions at Delhi and supply-side constraints at Medan, so investors should track June traffic for a rebound at Delhi as airspace normalises.
