GNA Axles reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 34,794 lakhs, down about 10% from Rs. 38,755 lakhs in Q2 FY25, and H1 revenue of Rs. 69,215 lakhs versus Rs. 78,717 lakhs, a decline of around 12%. Despite weaker topline, profitability improved meaningfully: Q2 profit after tax rose 9.3% YoY to Rs. 3,119 lakhs (from Rs. 2,853 lakhs), driven by sharp cost of materials reduction and lower other expenses. EBITDA margin expanded by roughly 380 basis points YoY in Q2 to about 17.7%, reflecting better operating efficiency. H1 PAT was marginally lower at Rs. 5,422 lakhs versus Rs. 5,631 lakhs, and EPS stood at Rs. 12.63 for the half year. Operating cash flow stayed healthy at Rs. 15,119 lakhs, though long-term borrowings rose to Rs. 11,728 lakhs. Auditor G.S. Syal & Co. issued an unmodified review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Mixed near-term picture: shrinking revenues suggest demand softness in the auto components segment, but strong margin expansion signals improving cost discipline and product mix, which should support earnings resilience. The stock may react cautiously given the revenue decline, though margin gains could provide a cushion.
